A mirror is a copy of a casino on a different address. The word comes up constantly among Indonesian players because the communications ministry blocks access to gambling sites. That blocking is a consequence of the legal ban on gambling, and we do not explain ways around it.

Copying the look of a casino site is easy. Copying the balance system behind it is not. So fake sites usually redirect the only part that makes money: the deposit page. You can register, browse the lobby, even watch a balance "arrive" — but the money has gone to an account or wallet controlled by the scammer, and no withdrawal will ever be paid.

Checking where your money is going
Before confirming a payment, look at the recipient name shown by your banking or e-wallet app — payment apps display the merchant or account holder before you approve. If the name makes no sense, such as a stranger or an unrelated shop, cancel. For crypto, compare the address and network on screen with those in your own account cashier, character by character at both ends of the address. Access blocked: what it means for a balance
If a site you used suddenly stops opening, do not hunt for a new address in forwarded messages. That is exactly when "alternative links" circulate, and some of them are traps. Blocking also signals the legal position: in Indonesia, playing on gambling sites is an offence, and a balance on a site you can no longer reach is protected by no domestic regulator. If you have already paid a fake cashier
- Contact your bank or e-wallet provider at once and report the suspicious transaction; the faster you act, the better the chance funds can be held.
- Keep evidence: screenshots of the deposit page, the destination account and the conversation.
- Change the passwords of your email and any account you may have reused on the fake site.
- Never pay a "recovery fee" to anyone promising your money back — that is a second scam.
